Q: Can Free Video Capture record mouse cursor?
A: Of course you can choose to record the mouse cursor in your recordings or not.
Q: Where is my recorded video file saved?
A: The output folder can be directly opened by the "Open Folder" button. You can also select the output directory.
Q: Can I use Free Video Capture to record Webcam chat?
A: Of course.
Q: How long can I record a video at one time?
A: It depends on your hard disk space. Free Video Capture DO NOT have limit of the video time record. But still, it is not suggested making a video too long as a super-size video is hard to be loaded to many other editor or player programs.
Q: Can Free Video Capture record copyrighted material?
A: Many programs have protection against being captured by a screen capture so there is a good chance it will not work. It is not suggested to record copyrighted material.
Q. Can I schedule Free Video Capture to automatically record from the computer screen, a device, or webcam?
A. Free Video Capture provides a timer to set the recording duration. It will automatically stop when the recording is finished.
Q. Can Free Video Capture record sound?
A.Yes, it will capture sound via your microphone and/or system sound. The sound capture can be done with a built in microphone that is within the computer or you can capture sound with a desktop microphone.
Q. Why can't I record audio?
A.Firstly, make sure that you had checked the item "Audio Record" below the preview window. In "Audio Video Options", you can set the audio format, volume and resource.
Q. Why is the audio out of sync with video?
A.This may happen for some video codecs. You may try to change to another video compressor. And please close other applications that take many resources during recording.
Q. Can I upload the video recorded by Free Video Capture to YouTube.com without editing it?
A.Yes, the output format is prefect match the YouTube.com requirement so you could upload immediately.
Q. Can Free Video Capture record a game from my PC?
A.Free Video Capture is intended to capture movement on a regular Windows desktop. 3D fullscreen games run separately from the regular Windows Desktop, so attempting to use Free Video Capture for 3D capture may not have desirable outcomes. The best way to find out though would be to try it.
Q. Will Free Video Capture work on 64 bit Computers?
A.Yes. Free Video Capture will work on any 64 bit Windows 8, 7 and Vista computer.
Q. Will Free Video Capture work on a Mac?
A.Sorry but so far Free Video Capture has no Mac version.
Q. Is there any token payment for Free Video Capture?
A.No, there are no payments for our software at all. It is free and it will remain free.
